Approaching the need for all educators to continuously upgrade and integrate technology into their educational pedagogy with professional development. Technological leadership should be supported as our we approach a diverse group of digital natives, when we enhance our technology skills teachers are able to lead effective interactions with peers and students. Currently as the situation with the Corona virus has escalated we have allowed for 100% virtual student to teacher interaction. This situation highlights the need for professional development sessions that will enhance the schools capability to provide momentous online experiences for our students an learning outcomes. Online learning is more than ever a place to develop communities, new expereinces and address the needs of learners in the 21st century classroom. As teachers, we need to acquire the skills to create an online learning community that encompass virtual etiquette and guidelines for educators. The Every Student Succeeds Act’s (ESSA) maintains that workflow, communication, instruction, data and technology are a priority for professional development under Title IV

My students enjoy using Zoom, Edgenuity, Outschool and GoogleEdu to build an online learning commuity.
